Lee College Announces 2015 Fieldbus Certified End User Training Schedule

BAYTOWN, Texas – The Center for Workforce and Community Development at Lee College, a Fieldbus Certified Training Program (FCTP) participant, has released its 2015 Fieldbus Certified training schedule.
 
Certified training is critical to the understanding of FOUNDATION technology, and it is important to obtain training from a certified institution to ensure each student learns the acceptable standards of knowledge. These training courses meet specific technical knowledge content requirements, uniform standards for FOUNDATION Fieldbus™ education curricula and acceptable levels of learning for students of the technology.
 
The following classes will be held in 2015 at the Lee College campus in Baytown, Texas:
 
Foundation Certified Professional (10 Days): July 13-24
A good fit for engineers, designers, system analysts, main instrumentation controls contractor, and start-up and commissioning specialists wanting to increase their knowledge base of design, planning, and implementation of FOUNDATION systems.
 
Foundation Certified Technical Specialist (5 Days): July 6-10 & August 3-7
Designed for maintenance technicians, network technicians, vendor/contract service specialists, maintenance and contract maintenance supervisors, and control automation instructors and in-house trainers who install, maintain, repair/replace and troubleshoot FOUNDATION systems.
 
Foundation Certified Support Specialist (2 Days): Contracted as Needed
Intended for salespeople, end-user management, estimators, operations staff, quality control specialists and reliability analysts wanting to be knowledgeable enough to communicate intelligently about FOUNDATION technology.
 
Lee College is the premiere educational center for emerging technologies in the field of control systems. As one of nine FCTP sites in the world, Lee College provides end user training on multiple Foundation Fieldbus hosts and devices on-site. All Lee College courses are taught by senior instrumentation professionals with an advanced specialization in fieldbus technologies. The facilities of Lee College include a multi-million dollar pilot plant and several state-of-the-art MicroPlants that allow students to build fieldbus segments, configure devices and develop control strategies.
