Miz Bambo and Its Author Will Greet Fans in BookExpo America 2015

Losing a loved one can be devastating, but the changes after the grieving period might not be so bad after all. This is what Carol Craig Cowan-Lanyon is trying to tell us when she wrote her book, Miz Bambo. It’s a masterpiece that chronicles the bond between a mother and a daughter who went on an adventure of a lifetime after losing someone they both cherished.

The memoir talks about the idyllic childhood of the author. She was raised in a loving home by a comforting mother and a supportive father. But as she was enjoying her younger days, her father died just before her fifteenth birthday. His death was so drastic it changed her mother, who became unpredictable and impossible to please. At the end of Carol’s sophomore year in college, her mother decided to pack their bags and spend the next year abroad. But what both of them didn’t know is how their experiences would change them.

About the Author
Carol Craig Cowan-Lanyon is a native of Amarillo, Texas. In 1985, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona. While she lived in Europe, she earned her masters degree in the Early Florentine Renaissance Art History. And now, she currently lives in Tucson, Arizona.
