Award-Winning Poe-Inspired Street Lit Meets BookExpo America 2015
Keith Steinbaum’s, The Poe Consequence, to be displayed in the biggest book event of the year.
The hunters are hunted, the fearless turn fearful, and the controllers lose control.
Are you a fan of Edgar Allan Poe? Are you an admirer of his murderous journeys through madness and the macabre? Professor Warren Palmer is. And for the two L.A. street gangs responsible for his murder, class is now in session…
Keith Steinbaum’s novel, The Poe Consequence, which has already garnered Books-And-Authors.net’s Supernatural Thriller Book of the Year, will be displayed in the LitFire publishing booth at BookExpo America 2015. As Steinbaum veers us through a world of suspense, drama, and mayhem, we watch as two rival gangs fall prey to an Edgar Allan Poe inspired vow of revenge from beyond the grave. The hunters are hunted, the fearless turn fearful, and the controllers lose control.
Numerous book reviewers have applauded The Poe Consequence. Among them, Glenda Bixler, from Book Reader’s Heaven says, “Got to say I loved the concept, the story line, and implementation merge of today’s world with the one present during Poe’s time. Whew! The Poe Consequence is scary, eloquent, weird, literary writing at its finest and a story worthy, in my opinion, of being a follow-up to Poe’s classics!” Author Darcia Helle says, “Taking on Poe is a tough challenge, but Keith Steinbaum handles it well...The surprise for me was the underlying theme of predjudice. Steinbaum dives right in and handles this incredibly well. The story never gets preachy. In fact, the realism is striking. We aren’t handed a magical, fairy tale solution. Instead, we’re shown the injustice of it in a way that makes it understandable, almost forgivable, but never tolerable.”
So, if an Edgar Allan Poe influenced story filled with supernatural suspense and modern day combustible human interaction seems intriguing, then we urge you to check out Steinbaum’s book at the Javits Center in New York City between May 27th to 29th at the BEA 2015. But if you’re unable to attend, and you’re curious about The Poe Consequence, you can find out more about the book and also purchase it at Keith Steinbaum’s official website http://thepoeconsequence.com/.
