Allegheny Health Network Director of Prehospital Medicine, Colleagues, Contribute to Newest Edition of Air Medical Transport Textbook

Martin, MD, FACEP, Director of the Division of Prehospital Medicine at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) and Medical Director of LifeFlight, AHN’s air medical program, is Associate Editor of the newly published second edition of “Principles and Direction of Air Medical Transport: Advancing Air and Ground Critical Care Transport Medicine.”
The book “is the culmination of countless hours and is a reflection of the dedication and passion that our members have for the service we provide to our patients,” said William R. Hinckley, MD, and Christopher J. Fullagar, MD, past president and president of the Air Medical Physician Association. “Perhaps more than any publication, it strives to address the educational needs of the entire air and ground medical transport community.”

The book was introduced at the 2015 Critical Care Transport Medicine Conference, held April 20-22 in Charlotte, NC.
