Vehicle Registration Kiosks Extend Service Options to Ohio Residents

Timesaving Self Service Terminals Offer 24-Hour Convenience

Fort Wayne, IN – WEBWIRE

Ohio BMV customers can now enjoy the convenience offered by timesaving Self Service Registration Terminals (SST) as part of the expansion of the BMV4U program.  Motor Vehicle SSTs have enjoyed tremendous success nationwide and are now available to the citizens of Ohio. The SSTs are part of a one-year pilot program intended to expand successful service delivery for Ohio residents to renew their vehicle registrations.

Customer friendly SSTs permit residents to acquire a one year renewal of their vehicle registrations and receive their stickers in about one minute.  Users are guided by both audio and written step-by-step instructions walking them through the simple renewal process, requiring the user to swipe their driver’s license and pay the renewal fee with a credit card.

The first SST was installed in March with additional pilot SSTs slated to be installed in supermarkets in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati areas.

The new SSTs are now available at the following Columbus area Marc’s locations:

111 Huber Village Blvd., Westerville, OH
1828 West Henderson Rd., Columbus, OH

Working in partnership with the BMV, the SST program is provided by Intellectual Technology, Inc., the market-leading provider of unique BMV on Demand technology solutions that optimize Motor Vehicle service delivery.
