Florida Vietnam Veteran to Speak at Weatherford, TX Commemoration Event

Mack Payne of Lake Placid, Florida will address the Vietnam War - 50th Anniversary Commemoration to be held at the National Vietnam War Museum located at 12685 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford on May 9, 2015 which starts at 10:00 am.
 
The event is being held in conjunction with the DOD 50 Year Commemoration of the Vietnam War. The primary purpose here is to begin the process of welcoming home all Vietnam Veterans and showing them the gratitude and recognition they were deprived of when they come home from the war and faced an indifferent nation. This Commemoration will feature a wide variety of speakers, displays and demonstrations.
 
Payne is a speaker and writer who has been a strong proponent of the Vietnam Veteran generation. He is a highly decorated veteran of two years in Vietnam, one with the Fourth Infantry Division and one with the 101st Airborne Division where he flew Cobra Gunships. He has owned and operated businesses in Florida and served in elected office in Collier County Florida.
 
Today he is a professional speaker and a member of the prestigious National Speakers Association. His specialty is speaking about the Vietnam Veteran Generation where he points out its greatness. At this event he will be talking about that generation and why it should be recognized and appreciated for it tremendous  service to our country.
