Top Cloud IT Leader Scott White Joins ClearDATA as Chief Revenue Officer

Phoenix, Ariz. – WEBWIRE

ClearDATA, the healthcare industry leader in cloud computing, platform and information security services, announced that accomplished Cloud IT executive Scott White has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. In this newly created position, White will expand ClearDATA’s engagement and partnerships within its rapidly growing healthcare segments.

White will be responsible for forging new lines of business at ClearDATA and expanding existing client bases that are also experiencing exponential growth requiring a secure cloud approach to managing data applications and infrastructure. He brings more than 15 years of cloud computing-specific executive experience in sales, client relations and marketing to ClearDATA.

The company’s HealthDATA™ Cloud infrastructure, managed services and SaaS HIT Cloud management platform improves and secures healthcare organizations’ IT applications and data being used by more than 300,000 healthcare practitioners today. Healthcare relies on massive amounts of highly accurate data. Attempting to manage all of this information with aging, fragmented infrastructure and over-extended IT staff hampers healthcare providers from participating in large-scale ‘Big Health Data’ projects. Most seriously, it invites almost constant data breach attempts by hackers intent on stealing patient health information.

White comes to ClearDATA after more than a decade of helping build Rackspace into the largest cloud hosting company in the world. White joined Rackspace as a sales leader when the company had approximately $5 million in revenue and helped build the company into the market leader with $1.8 billion in revenue and a peak company value of $10 billion.

“Scott has been involved in the cloud industry from the very beginning and brings with him not only world-class leadership talents, but a wealth of complex cloud hosting knowledge and experiences ideal for solutions selling into healthcare organizations,” said Darin Brannan, CEO of ClearDATA. “Scott’s impressive sales track record, client relationships and industry knowledge make him a great addition to ClearDATA’s management team. He will drive the success of our solution selling and account management teams as healthcare organizations look to securely and cost-effectively manage their data infrastructure and applications.”

As a healthcare-exclusive data center and cloud services provider, ClearDATA secures and manages data belonging to healthcare-related organizations in a HIPAA-compliant, HITRUST CSF-certified environment, 100% purpose-built for healthcare. ClearDATA also offers additional data management services to facilitate “Big Health Data” initiatives and enables interoperability without sacrificing security. All with the goal of removing barriers to healthier healthcare – making health data safer, smarter and more secure.

“The healthcare industry is on the verge of a number of exciting discoveries thanks to the new capabilities now available in acquiring and analyzing health data,” said White. “Protecting and managing this data while enhancing its availability is more important than ever. I am very excited about the opportunities ahead to advance ClearDATA’s powerful value proposition – to modernize healthcare data infrastructure at a fraction of the time and cost it would take for healthcare organizations to do this internally.”
