Announcing Southern California’s First and Only Mined Cave

Oak Mountain Winery, producer of premium Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the south end of the Temecula Valley, is pleased to announce the grand opening of the first mined underground barrel cave to the public on June 15, 2015.

The underground tasting room, cave café, exclusive event room and barrel storage facility will encompass approximately 10,000 square feet and have (2) entrances or cave portals. The finished tunnel is generally 20’ wide and 12’ high and will have a variety of unique tunnel shapes. The underground facility can store up to 400 barrels for aging the winery’s red varietals under naturally moderated, ideal temperature and humidity conditions.

With even more to explore at Oak Mountain, they offer indoor & outdoor tasting bars, including their famous Raspberry Sparkling wine. Bring Fido. The most Dog Friendly of the Temecula wineries. Live music every Saturday and Sunday 1-5pm. 

Oak Mountain Winery offers six wine education and art classes inclusive with a tour of the winery and food pairing with our line of naturally fermented salami and cheeses. Gift certificates are available for all your shopping needs.
