Atrion’s Jason Himmelstein Renewed as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP)

Atrion’s Jason Himmelstein, an ITPro Solutions Architect and SharePoint MVP with more than 15 years of experience working with Microsoft and related technologies, was recently renewed as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). Himmelstein serves as Atrion’s Senior Technical Director for SharePoint.

The annual Microsoft MVP Award is presented to fewer than 4,000 awardees and recognizes exceptional technology community leaders worldwide who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with users and Microsoft, according to Microsoft. Out of this exclusive group, fewer than 250 were acknowledged specifically for their SharePoint expertise.

"Receiving this distinction serves as a validation of the work I’ve done within the Microsoft community to leave a lasting impact,” Himmelstein said. “MVPs are selected for their passion for the technology and a willingness to help others and the greater community. Microsoft MVPs represent a highly select group of experts in over 90 countries, spanning more than 30 languages and over 70 Microsoft technologies. As an MVP, Himmelstein will have the opportunity to connect with MVPs across the globe as well as Microsoft executives to further position himself as a technical community leader.

Himmelstein is one of Atrion’s three Microsoft MVPs, along with John Miner, Senior Platform Engineer, and Steve Simon, Senior Business Intelligence Development Engineer.
