TAG to Host 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands

Technology Association of Georgia Seeks Bands and Sponsors for the Annual Event.

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) in partnership with TAG Digital Media and Entertainment Society today announced that they will once again  host the TAG Battle of the Bands competition on April 30th, 2015.

 

Sponsorship opportunities are available for this unique musical competition which features bands made up of Georgia’s most talented and creative technologists.  Band members do not have to be professionals; just lovers of music! Applications for competing bands are due March 30th.

Videos of eligible bands will be posted online for live voting, beginning Monday, April 6th 9 am and ending Friday, April 10th 5 pm. The top 5 bands receiving the most online votes will be selected to perform at the live event on Thursday, April 30th, 2015 at Opera Atlanta Event Center in Atlanta (Midtown Area).

A panel of celebrity judges will select the top 3 bands at the live event. Event attendees will have the opportunity to cast their vote for “People’s Choice” winner, to be announced at the conclusion of the live event on May 1st.
