Pennsylvania American Water Names New Senior Director Of Operations for Eastern PA


HERSHEY, Pa. – WEBWIRE

Pennsylvania American Water announced that Robert Burton has been named senior director of operations for Pennsylvania American Water. Burton is based in Scranton and will oversee all distribution and production for the company’s eastern Pennsylvania operations.

Prior to joining Pennsylvania American Water, Burton served as director of military operations for American Water Enterprises.Burton has been with American Water since 2010, serving as general manager, utility manager and operations supervisor at Fort Meade, Md., and Fort Belvoir, Va. He was previously employed as a project manager for ESG Operations, Inc., and held several positions with Veolia Water North America.

Burton resides in East Stroudsburg and holds water and wastewater treatment licenses.
