The Elizabeth Hospice Offers Workshop, “Dealing with Responsibilities of Daily Life While Coping with Grief”

San Diego, CA USA – WEBWIRE

As part of its “Living While Grieving” series, The Center for Compassionate Care of The Elizabeth Hospice will present the grief workshop, “Adapting: Dealing with the Responsibilities of Daily Life,” on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Center for Compassionate Care located at 930 Canterbury Place, Escondido 92025. The workshop is open to the community-at-large, regardless of the type of loss experienced.

Adapting and learning to take care of “the business” of daily life while grieving is the focus of this experiential workshop. Each participant will review life balance and their capacity for flexibility. Discovering inner strengths and resources will be explored through the use of symbolic imagery.  Participants will take home useful resources to help them formulate their own ways of facing daily tasks, socializing, and lifestyle changes.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. A $40 participation fee covers interactive therapeutic activities, handouts, and workshop materials. For more details or to register, please call the registration line at (760) 796-3757  or info@cccforhope.org

The grief workshops available in the “Living While Grieving” series are designed to help adults understand the natural responses when grieving the loss of a loved one and to learn new self-care strategies.
