London, UK – WEBWIRE

Colt today announced that Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company, has recognised it among the industry’s leading vendors in all four use cases assessed in the third ‘Critical Capabilities for Pan-European Network Services’1 report. “Critical capabilities” are attributes that differentiate products or services, such as Ethernet services, SIP Trunks, or Managed MPLS VPNs, in a class in terms of their quality and performance. “Gartner recommends that users consider this set of critical capabilities as some of the most important criteria for network services acquisition decisions.”

Sohail Qadri, EVP Strategy & Business Development at Colt: “Colt continues to invest in its network coverage and product capabilities, enabling us to meet our customers’ requirements and maintain our overall position in a highly competitive market. We believe this report demonstrates Colt has made further progress in its evolution to a full managed service provider and that customers value Colt’s strong pan-European presence and high quality services - in particular Colt’s Ethernet and SIP Trunk offerings. We view the Gartner Critical Capabilities for Pan-European Network Services report as an excellent barometer of the industry and a trusted benchmark of performance for enterprises and channel partners looking for network service providers in the region.”
