T-Mobile International and Birdstep Technology ASA signs long term Frame Contract

Oslo/Stockholm/Seattle/Cambridge – August 31, 2006 –Birdstep Technology ASA, the leading provider of seamless connectivity and mobility software for laptop, PDAs and Smartphones, today announced a one and a half year Frame Contract with T-Mobile including yearly automatic renewal. The agreement supports the two companies’ ambition to deliver high performance, high quality, easy-to-use mobile office solutions for enterprise customers and high end consumers.

The contract is a one and a half year frame agreement that cover all T-Mobile TMCC (T-Mobile Communication Centre) product releases over the contract period and corresponding tailored product developments required to meet the market demands anticipated by T-Mobile .

The TMCC product is available today as part of the Web’n’Walk concept brought to the market by all T-Mobile affiliates in Europe. TMCC is an important cornerstone in the Web n’ Walk concept, being the connection manager used to provide T-Mobile’s customers easy and simple access to Internet and Intranet regardless of underlying technology: 2G (GPRS/ EDGE), 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) or Wireless LAN. Thanks to the Web’n’Walk concept and TMCC, the data usage is advancing both in the business as well as consumer customer segments.
