Thinfilm receives NFR grant for project with SINTEF

Thin Film Electronics ASA (“Thinfilm”) (OSE: THIN.OL), a leader in the development and commercialization of printed electronics and smart systems, announced today that The Research Council of Norway (NFR) has awarded Thinfilm a grant of NOK 12 million (approximately US$1.65 million) for research into novel assembly methods and barrier coatings for printed electronic systems. Thinfilm will partner with SINTEF, the largest independent research institution in Scandinavia, over three years, helping to extend printed electronics research excellence in Norway.
