Mount Vernon, WA – Annette Booth, the agency owner, was nationally recognized by the Allstate Foundation through four $1,000 grants to be given to the Boys And Girls Clubs of Skagit County, Humane Society of Skagit Valley, Hospice of the NW and the Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services. With a new charity program campaign in the Skagit County Mount Vernon area, Allstate - Booth Insurance Agency also announced a food drive for the animals being sheltered at The Humane Society of Skagit Valley.

The Humane Society of Skagit Valley is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 to provide a safe haven to shelter and care for the abandoned, abused, or unwanted animals within Skagit County since 1974. Helping over 2,500 animals that pass through the shelters doors each year. Most of these animals are fed through volunteer support and private donations. To help this cause, Booth Insurance Agency asks that canned or dry dog or cat food donations can now be dropped off at their Booth Insurance Agency location, at 130 S 15 St #102, Mount Vernon, WA 98274.

About the current community campaign headed by her agency, Booth attested, “It’s heartbreaking knowing that so many animals are left without care or shelter in Skagit County each year. Without the remarkable services of the Humane Society of Skagit Valley, these animals would have no chance of survival. Our agency felt compelled to make every effort to ensure our food drive will help feed as many ‘4-leggeds’ as possible.”

The agency will promote the campaign over the course of the next 45 days, through its social media channels, email and text communications, and monthly electronic and print magazines, delivered to thousands of households in Mount Vernon, WA. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the campaign and details of the cause.
