“The spring exam testing window takes place from April 1st through May 31st for Applicants who have successfully completed their applications,” said Roger Smith, CIH, Certifications Applications Manager at the American Board of Industrial Hygiene®.  “We encourage approved Candidates to sign up for their exam slots early with Prometric Testing Centers since these slots can fill up fast, especially towards the end of the testing window. It is also a good idea to pay the exam fee as soon as the application has been approved so that Candidates have more choices and flexibility with their exam appointments.”

For those who cannot make the February deadline, there is also a fall exam. It has an August 1st application deadline and the exam period occurs from October 1st through November 30th.
