Tile Promotes Co-Founder Mike Farley to Chief Executive Officer

San Mateo, Calif. – (January 7, 2015) – Today Tile, the tiny wearable for the things you never want to lose, announces that co-founder Mike Farley has been promoted to CEO, with co-founder and former CEO Nick Evans assuming an advisor role with the company. Mike Farley previously served as Chief Operating Officer.

Evans and Farley co-founded Tile together in 2012, and have jointly led the company over the past two and a half years. During his tenure as CEO, Evans helped kick off their successful crowdfunding campaign, and helped create the foundation for the company’s marketing efforts.

“Nick’s involvement as CEO was instrumental in creating a world-class startup in Silicon Valley. I’ve worked with Nick since Tile’s inception and I can’t express enough how appreciative I am for his contributions during that time. Tile recently launched on Android, a move intended to dramatically extend Tile’s global network, and finished fulfilling all pre-orders placed during Tile’s crowdfunding campaign.
