Duterte Insurance Group Initiates New Charity Campaign in Laredo, TX to Collaborate with Project GRAD Houston and Contribute to Scholarship Fund in Memory of Terri Duterte

Laredo, TX – With a new charity program in the Laredo, TX area, Duterte Insurance Group, in collaboration with Project GRAD Houston, announced a new campaign that will reward a local outstanding student currently in the Program, with a college scholarship honoring the memory of Terri Duterte.  Terri was a beloved middle-school teacher who, before losing her battle with cancer in 2009, shared the belief that every student, regardless of background or race, deserves access to college. “My aunt Terri spent the majority of her life dedicated to teaching, and she found a special joy in helping her students thrive. As a Language Arts teacher, she excelled at educating many young lives in literature, comprehension, critical thinking, and writing. For the special way she touched us all, her principles, knowledge, and values will live on – especially through the students who still benefit from her legacy,” said Keefe Duterte, the Agency’s principal.
 
Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Duterte Insurance Group marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive their support.
 
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-45 days, through its social media channels, email communications, and monthly electronic and print magazines, delivered to thousands of households in Laredo, TX.
