Wolters Kluwer Health appoints Robert Dekker as Director of Communications

Philadelphia (August 29, 2006) - Wolters Kluwer Health, a division of Wolters Kluwer, leading multinational publisher and information services company, announced today that Robert Dekker has been appointed as Director of Communications.

In his role as Director of Communications, Robert Dekker (37) will be responsible for Wolters Kluwer Health’s internal and external communications. Mr. Dekker is located at Wolters Kluwer Health’s headquarters in Conshohocken, PA.

Mr. Dekker’s responsibilities will include the development and implementation of external and internal divisional communication strategies, including corporate communications, media relations, corporate branding, employee communications and trade events. Mr. Dekker will report directly to Jeff McCaulley, President & CEO of Wolters Kluwer Health.

Before joining Wolters Kluwer Health, Mr. Dekker held several senior communication positions at PURAC, a division of Dutch multinational CSM, in the Netherlands and USA. Mr. Dekker most recently served as Director of Marketing Communications at Grace Performance Chemicals, a division of W.R. Grace based in Cambridge, MA.
