TANDBERG to Deliver PC Video Client for IBM Lotus Sametime 7.5

Integrated Solution Provides Users with “Click-to-Call” Videoconferencing Right from the PC

NEW YORK and OSLO, Norway, August 28, 2006 – Taking advantage of the new functionality in IBM Lotus® Sametime® 7.5, TANDBERG (OSLO: TAA:OL) is working with IBM® (NYSE: IBM) to deliver videoconferencing right from the PC. Working through familiar Lotus Sametime tools such as instant messaging (IM) and Web conferencing, users will be able to launch video calls from their PC at the click of button; providing organizations with scalable platform for energizing collaboration and speeding decision-making.

“Adding TANDBERG’s video capabilities to the unified communication mix allows Lotus Sametime 7.5 users to further enhance their collaboration experience,” said Ken Bisconti, vice president Lotus software products, IBM. “Working with TANDBERG on this initiative is an important step in our plans to integrate Lotus Sametime with leading solution providers from across the unified communications industry.”

Lotus Sametime users with a PC webcam will be able to instantly connect to other video users, checking user presence and availability through the Lotus Sametime 7.5 Connect client, as well as escalate an IM or web-conferencing session into a real-time, face-to-face meeting. In addition, video calls can be launched from a PC to any standards-based, business-quality endpoint, further leveraging existing investment in video.

“The development of PC-based videoconferencing provides a unique tool for unifying the organization, enabling more frequent and effective communication with dispersed workforces,” said Fredrik Halvorsen, TANDBERG chief executive officer. “The TANDBERG-IBM relationship is another demonstration of our efforts to further expand the visual communication marketplace and bring video out of the conference room.”

TANDBERG’s video integration for Lotus Sametime 7.5 users will be available in Q1 2007.
