Acer Makes Strong Progress in the US with Best YoY PC Shipment Growth in Q3 2014

Acer continues to make strong progress in the US market according to the latest Q3 2014 preliminary data by IDC. In the US Total PC market, Acer’s shipments grew by 29.6% year-on-year (YoY), and achieved the highest growth rate among the top 10 players.

In addition, Acer significantly boosted its commercial business with 79.4% YoY shipment growth, securing 6.7% share of the Total Commercial PC market, its highest share over the past two years.

Continuing its momentum throughout 2014, the progress this quarter is the result of an attractive and competitive product portfolio as well as Acer’s stronger focus on education and small and medium business customers.
