TestAmerica Names Ron Ackerman as Sales Director

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, announced today that Ron Ackerman has been appointed as Sales Director. Mr. Ackerman will oversee sales activity for the Central Region of TestAmerica, reporting to Kent Cheese, Vice President Sales.

“Ron’s deep background as a proven sales leader, mentor and coach make him an ideal fit for helping expand our growth,” said Mr. Jim Ford, Executive Vice President Commercial of TestAmerica. “He’s shown superior revenue growth performance in his prior roles and is also skilled at building team development.”

Mr. Ackerman brings more than 30 years of environmental experience in the oil & gas, waste collection, recycling & disposal and general manufacturing industries. He has broad organizational experience in sales, operations and general management and has led both national and regional sales teams for Browning Ferris Industries (BFI), PSC Industrial Services, LLC, Baker-Hughes Inc., Research-Cottrell Energy Companies, and Wabash National Corporation. He received his M.S. in Management from the University of Maryland University College, and a B.S. in Management Science from the SUNY at Buffalo.
