Blanchard Insurance Agency Initiates Food Drive Campaign In Collaboration With Local Car Wash to Raise Food Donations for Hungry People in Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County – With a new charity program in the Palm Beach County area, Blanchard Insurance Agency has teamed up with Blue Heron Car Wash to support local, hungry people around the holidays. To support their food drive, the Agency asks customers, friends and neighbors to drop off a grocery bag full of food items at Blue Heron Car Wash, at 34 West Blue Heron Blvd, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, to receive $5 off a car wash service and help a good cause.
 
Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Blanchard Insurance Agency marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 30-90 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive their support.
 
According to the most recent census, more than 170,000 adults in Palm Beach County qualify as poor by federal guidelines.  57% of students in the county qualify for free or reduced lunch. 35 million pounds of food items are needed to annually feed the hungry in Palm Beach County.
 
“It is alarming to us that so many people in our own community are hungry and suffering to feed their families… We’re glad to team up with Blue Heron Car Wash and hope to raise a good amount of canned goods to help those in such extreme need,” said Gregg Blanchard, the Agency’s principal. “By simply donating a bag of food items, anyone can receive $5 off a car wash while providing great relief for the needy – we can do this!”
 
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-60 days, through its social media channels, email communications, and monthly electronic and print magazines, delivered to thousands of households in Palm Beach County, Florida, Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the campaign and details of the cause. Contributors may be acknowledged for their donations on the following issue of the agency’s monthly magazine.
