“We sure understand the value of a helping hand in time of need… As active agents of change, we will contribute in any way we can, so that the great members of our community are always in good hands. We hope to not just meet but go beyond our initial goal, so that we can meet the needs of many,” said Dave Phillips, founder and President of Westchester Insurance.

Grand Prairie, TX – Westchester Insurance in Grand Prairie, TX announced the debut of its charity program designed to benefit the local community. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to nominate a new beneficiary every 30-90 days. The idea is to create a campaign to help the elected individual, family or programs with immediate support by bringing awareness to these very important causes.

To launch the program, Dave Phillips, the agency’s principal, has chosen to introduce Grand Prairie United Charities. Pat Wright, a Grand Prairie resident, recognized that some of her neighbors were experiencing financial setbacks and needed some way to receive emergency assistance. That was how she headed the establishment of this remarkable organization. The money raised through the efforts of Westchester Insurance will now help cover the costs of the following: food, rent, mortgage, utility bills, medication, and shelter.

Each new cause showcased by the agency will accompany a detailed full story about the elected cause on a designated donations page. To join Westchester Insurance in supporting GPUC, donors are encouraged to visit https://www.socialply.com/campaigns/westchester-insurance-neighbors-helping-neighbors-in-grand-prairie-tx and share the page with their friends and family through social media and email.

With the newly launched program, Westchester Insurance takes responsibility for promoting that donations page through its many channels, to include its own database of thousands of customers, business partners, staff, neighbors and friends.

The agency also owns a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which reserves a full page to feature the campaign of the chosen cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue of the magazine can be accessed here: http://westchesterinsuranceteam.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39
