Nearly 100 community and business leaders teed off at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ, on Sept. 29 to raise funds for Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation. This year’s tournament raised more than $340,000 for the nonprofit hospital, making the combined total contribution more than $700,000 since the tournament was founded in 2012.

The hospital serves children affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays and life-changing illnesses or injury. It is the largest pediatric rehabilitation health system in the United States, serving nearly 22,000 children per year at 13 different locations across New Jersey.

“BASF has a longstanding relationship with Children’s Specialized Hospital and this golf tournament is a natural extension of our work together to help the hospital deliver on its mission of creating a world where all children can reach their fullest potential,” said Ken Lane, President of BASF’s Catalysts Division. “Thanks to the generosity of customers, suppliers and friends, we continue to exceed our yearly fundraising goals, which in turn, help the hospital achieve its growth goals.”

“The children who receive care from Children’s Specialized Hospital are so fortunate to have dedicated corporate partners like BASF,“ said Amy B. Mansue, President and CEO, Children’s Specialized Hospital.  “The funding from this year’s event will support our newest location in Warren Township in Somerset County.  We are thankful to the entire BASF family for its commitment to supporting the local community.”

Major sponsors of this year’s tournament were Eastman Chemical Company; Hargrove Engineers + Constructors; Leader & Berkon LLP; Sabin Metal Corporation; Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP; Daiichi Kigenso Kagaku Kogyo; Deloitte; L’Oreal; Logistics Management Solutions LC; OIin Corporation; Praxair Inc.; Resinall Corporation; Sherwin Williams; and SI Group Global Headquarters.
