Greenberg Traurig’s Hugo López Coll to Speak at Latin Lawyer’s 2nd Annual Anti-Corruption & Investigations Conference in Brazil

Hugo López Coll, a shareholder with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, is scheduled to speak at the 2nd Annual Anti-Corruption & Investigations Conference. The program, hosted by Latin Lawyer, will take place Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at the Tivoli Hotel in São Paulo, Brazil.

López Coll will be speaking at 10:30 a.m. on the topic “Red Flags from Around the Region.” His speech will focus on anti-corruption enforcement in the Latin American region and the associated compliance issues when implementing an anti-corruption policy in Mexico and other countries in Latin America, such as dealing with labor, data privacy and money laundering laws. He is a course professor on corporations as well as on credit transactions and negotiable instruments both at the Universidad Iberoamericana and at the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Campus Santa Fe. López Coll is also a regular speaker and commentator at business seminars and conferences.
