Whistleblowers Blog Series: “Whistleblowers Are Key to the DOJ’s Ability to Protect the Taxpayers from Fraud”

Washington – WEBWIRE

A new installment of the Whistleblowers Blog’s 25 part series on the False Claims Act was published today. “Whistleblowers Are Key to the DOJ’s Ability to Protect the Taxpayers from Fraud” is the third post in this series.  The purpose of this series is to combat the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s well-financed and aggressive lobbying campaign to undermine America’s most effective whistleblower law, the False Claims Act.

This series is authored by Stephen M. Kohn, who is a partner of the law firm of Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto and the pro bono Executive Director of the National Whistleblower Center. Kohn has put together this 25 part blog series to fully rebut the Chamber’s arguments.

A new installment will be published each Thursday. Whistleblowers and their supporters should follow this series and share it with friends.

Additionally, an Action Alert has been issued by the National Whistleblower Center for members of the public to inform their representatives that the False Claims Act should not be “reformed” as proposed by the Chamber. Please join with the National Whistleblower Center and take action on this critical issue.
