TestAmerica Names Kamrul Alam as Technical Director

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, announced today that Kamrul Alam, has rejoined TestAmerica as Technical Director. In this new role, Mr. Alam will provide technical oversight and direction locally to the Houston and Corpus Christi laboratories, while also deploying his exceptional knowledge and skillset across the TestAmerica network in support of best practice transfer and standardization.

Mr. Alam brings over 20 years of experience to his new position. Most recently he was a Volatiles/Organics Manager at ALS, based in Houston, TX. Mr. Alam earned his B.S. in Chemistry from University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh and his M.S. in Chemistry from Texas Southern University. His expertise includes environmental, oil and gas analytical methods and method development, instrument troubleshooting, as well as federal/state method compliance.
