As pets become more and more a part of the modern family, there is an increasing demmand for people to be able to create monuments for their dogs and cats after they have passed. There are multiple sites out there that allow for online memorials to be created, but few are as intuitive as Pet Space and even fewer are free.
Pet Space was created to help anyone in the world create a free lasting monument to their lost pet. With the ability to share photos, write blogs, add friends, and post messages on an intuitive message board it’s a great resource for anyone dealing with the grief associated with pet loss. Since it’s free and available to anyone, you can easily create multiple memorials and share them with friends. There is even a hit counter on the memorial page to show people how many views their memorial has gotten.
Each month Pet Space chooses a “Pet of the Month” based on the amount of hits the memorial has received. At the end of the calendar year, users can read and vote on their favorite. The memorial with the most votes receives their memorial etched into a plaque and mailed to their home. This is just a way for people to share their pet stories with people around the globe, and have fun while doing so.
Pet Space also features a breeder and rescue agency database that can easily be browsed by location, breed, or pet type. This is mainly for families looking for an easy method of finding the perfect pet for their family.
