Asian Circuits Inc. Adds Revolutionary X-Ray Inspection To Improve Quality Control
Nanofocus X-ray inspection is essential for verifying the quality of electronic components in PCB assembly.
Asian Circuits Inc., a leading provider of electronic PCB assembly announced today that it has added the X-Tek “Revolution” X-ray inspection machine (called the XT V 160) to improve the quality of its assembly of fast turnaround, prototype PCBs.
The XT V 160 inspection system is the most current investment of Asian Circuits. The XT V 160 will improve the quality of Ball Grid Array (BGA) electronic parts. It will also analyze the ability to solder IC packages and connectors. The XT V 160 will position Asian Circuits as a leader in electronic assembly because it is capable of identifying PCB assembly problems by seeing through the PCB board and its components, which would not be available by manual inspection. This will help Asian Circuits build loyalty since customers will be confident their PCBs have been produced without errors.
Says, Qin Mei Kuan, Asian Circuits’ general manager, “Since we specialize in fast turnaround PCB manufacturing for prototyping, short runs and new products, our customers want advanced inspection techniques that the XT V 160 gives us. We want to reassure our customers that their designs are correct and manufactured according to specifications. This investment is one of many that we will do as we grow. We promise our customers that they will receive products with the highest quality in the shortest time.”
The X-Tek “Revolution” X-ray inspection machine is the result of 20 years of experience in nanofocus X-ray inspection, which ideal for inspecting electronic parts used in PCB manufacturing because it possesses high resolution magnification. It utilizes tomography CT inspection to rebuild a test sampling in complete 3-D images, which is ideal for inspecting BGAs, solder joints and multi-layer boards.
