Seagate Launches Summer Promotion for HDD Resellers in Korea

Eight resellers will be awarded big screen LCD TVs for supporting Seagate brand and products

SEOUL, Korea—24 August 2006— In conjunction with the summer vacation season in Korea, Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX), the world’s number one hard drive maker, together with its manufacturing representative in Korea, Ocean Technology Co. Ltd., has launched a summer promotion for Korean HDD resellers to thank them for the consistent support they have given to Seagate and its products.

The Summer Promotion will reward eight Seagate resellers with 42-inch LG Time Machine LCD television sets for their exceptional performance in selling Seagate’s 3.5-inch Barracuda family and 2.5-inch Momentus family hard disc drives.
