Washington County, MD – Campbell Insurance and Investments, in Washington County, MD announced the debut of its charity program designed to benefit the local community. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to nominate a new beneficiary every 30-90 days. The idea is to create a campaign to help the elected individual, family or programs with immediate support by bringing awareness to these very important causes.

To launch the program, Craig Campbell, the agency’s principal, has chosen to assist the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County by raising much needed school supplies.  The Boys and Girls Club of Washington County expressed the shortage of supplies that many students were already experiencing for the 2014-2015 school year.  Campbell Insurance has arranged these 4 locations where community members can drop off any supplies to benefit kids who don’t have access to such necessary tools: Hagerstown Office: 1200 Dual Highway, Hagerstown, MD 21740;  Baltimore Office:  1754 E. Joppa Rd., Baltimore, MD 21234; Columbia Office: 5850 Waterloo Rd. Suite 140, Columbia, MD 21045; and Chambersburg Office: 454 Gateway Ave Chambersburg, PA  17201.

Each new cause showcased by the agency will accompany a detailed full story about the elected cause on a designated donations page. To join Campbell Insurance and Investments in supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County, donors may also make monetary donations at http://www.gofundme.com/essentialtoolsforschool, and are encouraged to share the page with friends and family as well.

With the newly launched program, Campbell Insurance takes responsibility for promoting that donations page through its many channels, to include its own database of thousands of customers, business partners, staff, neighbors and friends.

The agency also owns a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which reserves a full page to feature the campaign of the chosen cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue of the magazine can be accessed here: http://www.ourhometownmag.org/ccampbellinsurance/ccampbellinsurance-sep-14/.

“We understand the importance of helping local children in need, so we want to pull the community together to contribute to improving the lives of those who are the future of this great country we live in,” said Craig Campbell, founder and President of Campbell Insurance and Investments.
