TAG Announces Call for Intel Innovation Award Nominations

Organizers of the 2014 Health IT Leadership Summit seek healthcare IT innovators to spotlight at the 5th annual event in Atlanta on November 20.

Organizers of the 2014 Health IT Leadership Summit seek healthcare IT innovators to spotlight at the 5th annual event in Atlanta on November 20. Nominations are now being accepted for the Intel Innovation Award, which honors IT innovation from across the healthcare continuum, including:

  • innovative products or services;
  • use of technology in innovative ways;
  • evidence of a technology’s strong clinical and financial benefits;
  • new ways to address specific disease states and improve patient health;
  • healthcare service delivery innovation or potential to enable innovation; or
  • making a substantial improvement in cost, quality of care, access or patient      satisfaction.

The nomination deadline for the Intel Innovation Award is Oct. 13, 2014. The top four finalists will be highlighted at the Health IT Leadership Summit, which will take place at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta on November 20. Past Innovation Award winners include Greenway Health, CardioMEMS, and SoloHealth.
