Manila, Philippines – WEBWIRE

Trans-Asia Petroleum listed by way of introduction at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on Thursday. The company, which will use the stock symbol “TAPET”, is the oil exploration unit of Trans Asia Oil & Energy Development Corporation (TA).

“As it conducts drilling programs and geological studies in Palawan and in Eastern Visayas, Trans-Asia Petroleum contributes to the exploration and development of potential resources, which help the country meet its own demand and cut down on importing petroleum products,” PSE Chairman Jose T. Pardo said in his welcome remarks during the listing ceremony.

“With its listing by way of introduction here at the PSE, Trans-Asia Petroleum takes a leap towards greater opportunities to advance its operations.
