AT&T Helps Novadebt Streamline Counseling Services to Customers Nationwide
Freehold, New Jersey, August 22, 2006, AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) announced today the implementation of an advanced voice and networking solution for Novadebt, a non-profit, financial management, social service agency that serves customers across the country. The AT&T solution leverages Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology to prioritize Novadebt’s network traffic and ensure streamlined communications across all company locations. Specific terms of the contract were not disclosed.
In particular, AT&T’s solution helps Novadebt manage incoming customer calls with greater intelligence and efficiency, resulting in a seamless experience for its customers from start to finish. AT&T’s Managed Internet Service (MIS) plus PNT (Private Network Transport) and Voice over Internet Protocol provides the backbone for Novadebt’s Automatic Call Distribution Voice network. This allows Novadebt to consolidate all of its communications needs on one network with enhanced security backed by AT&T’s Class of Service capabilities to ensure call quality and 24/7 accessibility. To provide the most efficient assistance possible, an Automatic Call Distributor routes incoming calls to the next available counselor.
“The solution provided by AT&T has dramatically improved our communications capabilities both internally and with our customers,” said Aliza Landino, assistant vice president of Novadebt. “We are now able to quickly connect any of our customers with the counselor who is best-suited to address their individual needs — without worrying about the reliability or security of our network.”
The unified AT&T network has also improved collaboration among Novadebt’s counselors located across the country. “Our counselors are better-suited to share resources and best practices, and we’ve reduced interoffice travel expense at the same time,” added Aliza Landino.
