Pursuit 2014 Event to Connect Young Singles from Around the World

Single young adults from 43 states and 5 countries will gather at Focus on the Family from Aug. 7 to 9 for Boundless’ Pursuit 2014.

Pursuit 2014 will give Christian young singles an opportunity to meet others at their life stage and hear well-known Christian speakers teaching on relationships, life and faith. Speakers include Lisa Anderson, Valorie Burton, Emerson Eggerichs, Joy Eggerichs, Brant Hansen and Tullian Tchividjian.            

“In a culture where hookups and bar hopping define the current dating landscape, dating for Christian singles can be difficult,” said Lisa Anderson, Focus’ director of young adults and host of “The Boundless Show.”

“Pursuit 2014 gives them a weekend getaway near the mountains to meet like-minded singles in a casual environment and enjoy unique activities like a citywide 5k run / walk, a live taping of “The Boundless Show,” and a VIP meet and greet with the Boundless bloggers.”

The event will be held at the Focus on the Family campus in Colorado Springs, Colo., and will launch with an acoustic coffeehouse mixer and live taping of “The Boundless Show,” with host Lisa Anderson interviewing Focus President Jim Daly and his wife, Jean.

Registration for the conference ended on July 24. The conference is open to singles ages 18 to 39.

The Pursuit 5k run / walk is open to the general public and has a $25 entry fee for all participants. Participants in the 5K can register for the race at any point.
