Mr. Jones has a long and successful career working at senior executive levels for substantial blue chip organizations around the world including NAB, Westpac, BNZ, HBS, CBA and most recently Destiny Rescue. During his most recent tenure at Destiny Rescue, an organization involved in the rescue, care, and protection of vulnerable children caught up in trafficking and slavery, Mr. Jones was able to attract a much wider and compliant fundraiser base with donations and revenues that more than doubled during that period. Destiny Rescue has now expanded into eleven countries around the world.
“Fundraising sectors throughout the world are sprouting up within many economies, but donors today are very savvy. They want more transparency and compliance. This handbook covers the common ’do’s and do-nots’ of fundraising, and assists start-ups, as well as established businesses, to increase the number of donors and donation rates, in this otherwise, very competitive, global environment.” said David Jones.
According to Giving USA Americans donated an estimated $316.23 billion to charitable causes in 2012. However, the agency also stated that 72% of US charitable giving comes directly from individuals.
“I created this guidebook for small and medium enterprises that are looking to progress their business to the next level of development.” stated David Jones. “Really, any organization that needs help raising money will appreciate the insights that went into this project.” he added.
