Acer Voted Favorite Projector Brand in Germany

Acer announces that it has been honored with a Leser Award (Readers’ Award) 2014 in the projector category, affirming its position as the leading projector brand in Germany.

Germany’s Screen Magazine recently published its list of Leser Award 2014 winners and among them was Acer in the projector category. The Leser Award program is jointly hosted by Screen Magazine, n-tv and the German Institute of Service Quality (DISQ) and selects its winners based on voting by readers and viewers. For this year’s Leser Awards, over 10,000 participants took part in the voting and were asked to select their favorite brands in various categories. Acer was elected the top place for the projector category.

This win for Acer is an affirmation of its leading position in projectors in the German market. According to the latest Q1 figures (1) from PMA Research, Acer was the number one projector brand in Germany with market share of 26%. Beyond Germany, Acer also retained its position among the leading projectors brands in Q1, ranked number two in EMEA with market share of 15.3% and number three worldwide with market share of 7.8%.
