Liaison Healthcare Signs Agreement with GNYHA Services for Lab Orders and Results Integration Solution

Liaison’s cloud-based EMR-Link™ solution for integrating lab orders and results is now available to members of GYNHA Services

ATLANTA, GA – WEBWIRE

Liaison Healthcare, a global provider of secure cloud-based data management and integration services and solutions, announced today that it signed an agreement to make its lab outreach solution available to GNYHA Services’ 300+ member hospitals and 1,500 health-related facilities.

Liaison Healthcare is a division of Liaison Technologies, which serves more than 7,000 customers worldwide, with over 1,500 in the healthcare and life sciences industries. EMR-Link™ is Liaison’s clinical laboratory and radiology hub solution, which complements hospitals’ existing interface engines and HIE infrastructure, enabling them to integrate diagnostic labs and radiology with practices in their area. EMR-Link unifies diagnostic lab and radiology orders for ambulatory physician groups and integrates that data with any EHR that the physician groups may be using. Liaison EMR-Link lets practices choose whether to implement results only, orders only, or both, and provides patient-friendly reporting to inform and include the patient in their care. EMR-Link is one of a family of cloud offerings from Liaison Healthcare, which also includes platforms for clinical data integration and data management.

David M. Zimba, FACHE, Vice President of Custom Contracting for GNYHA Services, said, “We are pleased to offer Liaison’s EMR-Link through our contract portfolio to help our members support physician EHR workflow. We believe Liaison’s approach to connecting and integrating data from disparate EHRs and practice management systems into Liaison’s Patient Health Data Repository™ (PHDR) will be valuable for our members.” PHDR is part of the Liaison Health Data Management™ (HDM) platform, which helps organizations meet the goals of quality reporting and analytics initiatives.

“The Liaison/GNYHA Services agreement demonstrates how Liaison solutions deliver value across the continuum of care—not only at the level of clinical workflow and lab outreach, where EMR-Link excels, but also through our ability to integrate and harmonize data across regional networks of care,” said Ken Willett, Liaison’s VP of Healthcare IT Strategy.
