Privi Hotels to go on a major expansion spree

Privi Hotel Group, the owners of Privi Suites, have recently announced that they plan to go on a major expansion spree to increase their presence in Thailand. The group received immense success with their first three hotel ventures – the Privi Suites, the Privi Hotel, both 3-star properties in Pattaya and the Privi Residence Service Apartments, also located in Pattaya.

According to Patricia ML Lim, aged 25, founder and managing director of the Privi Hotel Group, the group plans to come up with another 11 hotels very soon. The group has recently been on a major land purchasing spree for its proposed hotels across Thailand.

The Privi Suites raised the bar when it came to 3-star accommodation in Pattaya and gained a reputation for offering its guests with a superior quality of service and allowing them the indulgence of luxuries that are mostly found in 4-star and 5-star hotels. Apart from Privi Suites, Patricia also oversaw the construction of two more hotels – The Privi Hotel and the Privi Residence Service Apartments in a span of just 5 years.

Patricia, an ideal representative for the younger generation of entrepreneurs, completed her post-graduation from the Swiss Hotel Management School, Switzerland. When asked about her plans with their upcoming projects, Patricia says, “We firstly plan to concentrate on renovating the Privi Suites and add another budget hotel in Pattaya under our roof. The group then plans to come up with a 3-star hotel in Hatyai, a hostel in the China Town area of Bangkok and a beach resort in Rayong.

When asked about her experience in the hospitality industry, Patricia states that “My father, Patrick C Lim is the owner of the Namsing chain of restaurants amongst other businesses. Working in the hospitality business is second nature to me.”

Patricia seemed to be particularly excited about the group’s proposed beach resort. The resort is projected to offer guests with 20 villas, 250 rooms and a hotel experience like none other. Additionally, the proposed Privi Resort, Hayong and the Privi Boutique Hotel Hat, Yai will help scale the group to new heights.

With Patricia at the helm, the Privi Hotel Group certainly seems to be making waves with their ambitious expansion plans.
