National Business Group on Health Honors Walgreens with Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles® Award

The National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of large U.S. employers, today honored Walgreens (NYSE: WAG) (Nasdaq: WAG) for the company’s ongoing commitment and dedication to promoting a healthy work environment and encouraging employees and families to maintain healthy lifestyles. Walgreens received a gold award for its “You and Walgreens” company wellness program for the second consecutive year.

“You and Walgreens” provides access to a variety of health and wellness resources, including free health testing, wellness programs, personal health coaches, tobacco-free program, fitness center, weight management programs, on-site Healthy Living Centers and more, for more than 250,000 Walgreens team members and their families.
