Logic PD to Present at Sensors Expo & Conference
Scott Nelson to present on the effects of IoT on the make vs. buy process.
Logic PD’s chief technology officer, Dr. Scott Nelson, is presenting at the Sensors Expo & Conference being held June 24-26 in Rosemont, IL. The annual conference is the leading sensors event in North America and brings together technology leaders involved in the development of sensors-integrated and Internet of Things (IoT) systems.
Dr. Scott Nelson will present, “A New Make vs. Buy for the Internet of Things,” at 2:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, June 24th. During his presentation, Dr. Nelson, will discuss how IoT has fundamentally changed the make vs. buy process and the strategic and tactical implications.
“The traditional process no longer works in the Internet of Things,” says Dr. Nelson. “IoT will fundamentally change the make vs. buy conversation as it requires a more complete systems approach from sensors all the way to the user application and the recurring nature of the offerings can invert decisions during the life of the product.”
In his role, Dr. Nelson works with clients to leverage Logic PD’s technical and systems integration expertise to develop innovative, connected solutions that meet the needs of today’s customers.
