Windisch, Switzerland and London, UK: 17 June 2014 – Today, coresystems, the mobile cloud field and customer service company, is announcing a significant upgrade to coresuite mobile, its cloud-based mobile field service solution.

coresuite mobile’s latest additions, coresuite companion and coresuite API, help companies large and small effortlessly manage and deliver the very best customer service by allowing them to offer their own customers an easier way to access service, and to create tailor-made solutions that tap data from their own IT systems, including multiple ERP systems.

Philipp Emmenegger, CEO of coresystems, said: “At a time when both small and large companies consider excellent customer and field service as both a competitive differentiator and a profit centre, we believe our latest solution helps our customers to easily create, manage and report on customer service work processes to ensure they’re delivering the very best service to their own clients. Our new API lets them tailor the processes further, letting them create new apps by pulling data from multiple IT systems for a completely bespoke solution.”

coresuite mobile consists of 8 modules that companies can combine to create a tailored customer and field service management solution that suits their exact needs. We’re proud to announce the release of our two latest modules, coresuite companion and coresuite API:

  • coresuite companion: our exciting new module, a precursor to the Internet of Things, lets companies create a branded service app that lets their customers request and track service, browse product information and purchase additional products. QR codes are placed on products and once scanned open up the app to let customers choose what they need: service, additional information, spares, or other products.

  • coresuite API: Our API lets companies create a service tailored to their needs, letting them automatically upload their own proprietary data and connect it with their service processes to ensure it’s available on their mobile devices on and offline at all times. Small and large companies can benefit from the API as it can draw data from both spreadsheets and multiple ERP systems.

coresuite companion is currently being tested by Swiss e-bike pioneer m-way. Mario Klaus, Marketing Director at m-way said, “We started this pilot project as a way to offer convenient, painless and innovative customer service. We see exciting possibilities with how customers proactively self-manage service and how we are opening a new marketing channel and possibly selling new products. We are convinced that this will help us with long-term customer retention.”
