Rats Can Feel Regret; How About Us and the Economy?

A Parallel of Rats and Food with Rich Men and the Economy

The Golden Age may be turning brown.

An interesting study published in National Geographic suggested rats can regret food choices when they looked back at food they didn’t wait for.

A physician friend said, “This is a rat race and I’m one of the rats!” He was thinking of his work schedule but it also suggests a parallel to rats.

Regarding regret, the Bible says, Rich men, [will] weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted…Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you…you have heaped treasure together for the last days. James 5:1-3. The reference to “the last days” might make some wonder how relevant the Bible is.

How about 2008 when the new moon was in the sky as the US Senate approved $760 billion to bailout bankers on the eve of October 1 and the stock market crashed for 10 days. In Bible times, they blew trumpets for those 10 days till the Day of Atonement, Leviticus 23:24-28. It was a biblical parallel to Revelation 8:7 which suggests economic collapse on the Feast of Trumpets because, when the first trumpet blows, “all grass is burnt up.”

That decodes to the economy because when we compare passages, “as the flower of the grass, so shall the rich man fade,” James 1:9-11 King James. It doesn’t mean they die—they just aren’t rich any more.

This year that timeframe (Feast of Trumpets, new moon crescent) occurs September 26. Black Friday?

An ebook titled October 7 was expectant of economic crash last year, and though no crash occurred, the government was shut down on that date, suggesting sign quality as a warning for this year? Readers interested in further information may visit http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ET80D6K
