EMSL Attains Ownership of Custom Analytical Services, Inc. in New Hampshire

As of May 15, 2014, EMSL Analytical, Inc. has achieved ownership of Custom Analytical Services, Inc., a comprehensive non-destructive materials and electronics component testing laboratory in Salem, New Hampshire. EMSL will continue to operate the laboratory from its current location for the convenience of customers throughout the greater Salem and Boston markets. EMSL will also offer asbestos, lead, mold, microbiology and indoor air quality testing services from its AIHA accredited lab in Massachusetts, which will provide additional analytical support to the Salem lab.

Since its establishment in 1991, Custom has developed its services to include Failure Mode Analysis (FMA), Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), Construction and Contamination of Microelectronic Components, Printed Circuits Boards, Device Packaging and related materials. Custom also utilizes OM, SEM, AES, EDX, Micro-FTIR, Real Time X-RAY, C-SAM, cross-sectioning, digital imaging and other sophisticated analytical techniques.
