Fujifilm Breaks New Ground with Innovative Technology at ATS 2014

Sonart, is equipped with innovative image processing technology called ZONE Sonography™ and Sound Speed Correction Technology that provides excellent diagnostic capabilities. Sonart brings a new approach to endoscopic ultrasound, easily integrating into a slim endoscopic procedure cart with video processor and light source. For added convenience, the system can be used in conjunction with the EB-530US ultrasound video bronchoscope. Equipped with high-resolution, ultra small Super CCD chip technology, this scope offers bright vivid-high resolution endoscopic images. Unique design features include a 10˚ forward oblique view for optimal visualization and dual light guides for even illumination.
 
One of the highlights at the Fujifilm booth this year will be the bronchpilot® EBUS-TBNA iPad application software (app) featuring Fujifilm’s EB-530US scope. The bronchpilot® app provides bronchoscopy training on Transbronchial Needle Aspiration (TBNA) for healthcare professionals through an accessible, mobile platform. Attendees will have the opportunity to try out the new app at Fujifilm booth #4707.
 
The following Fujifilm activities will take place during the annual conference:

  • Ko Pen Wang, MD, FCCP from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine will provide a hands-on demonstration and discussion on the topic of “TBNA - A hybrid method of conventional and EBUS TBNA.” Presentations are scheduled at the Fujifilm booth #4707, May 18th and 19th, at 2:00pm.
  •  Fujifilm will provide equipment for a hands-on demonstration for PG1, held on May 16 from 1:00pm– 4:00pm in demo room 1A-B at the San Diego Convention Center. The course titled, “State of the Art: Interventional Pulmonology in 2014” , will provide participants with hands-on experience while using Fujifilm’s innovative products.
