A Mythical World With Real World Problems

Atlanta, GA – WEBWIRE

“As one who highly enjoys a good fantasy genre read, this debut novel by Daphne Ignatius does not disappoint.” – Diana L, Top 500 Reviewer on Amazon

“The Dragonrider’s Quest” is a fantasy adventure novel about a mythical land involved in a violent civil war. It is the debut novel of Daphne Ignatius and has just been released on Amazon for Kindle and in paperback. The Kindle version will be available free for a five-day promotional period May 17-21.

The plot of “The Dragonrider’s Quest” centers around the fact that, during the unrest caused by the civil war, the Crown Prince was the victim of an assassination attempt and is at the point of death. Aenor is a dragonrider, a female warrior, who has made mistakes and is eager to redeem herself in the eyes of her Queen. She is given the mission of finding the master healer Marius and bringing him to the Crown Prince in an effort to save the prince’s life.

Aenor’s task is complicated by the fact that Marius has also had problems in his past and has been hiding out for centuries from a powerful enemy who seeks revenge. Aenor isn’t sure Marius can be trusted, feeling that anyone surviving such a difficult life for so long must have committed some major sins along the way. Marius is ageless, able to sustain his own life by sucking energy from living things. The warrior manages to kidnap the reluctant healer and, despite their initial distrust of each other, combine their skills in a desperate race to save the prince.  Their journey is filled with magic, danger and romance and is sure to be a satisfying read for lovers of fantasy adventure.
