Little City Earns Three-Year Accreditation for Services to Individuals with Autism and Other Disabilities
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), awards Little City with highest certification for meeting rigorous standards
Keeping true to Little City Foundation’s mission of providing high-quality care for individuals with disabilities, the Palatine-based organization recently earned a three-year certification from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an international and independent accreditor of human services and health organizations.
This accreditation is the highest certification awarded to agencies that meet CARF’s rigorous standards. Conformance to CARF standards is an on-going Little City commitment to providing services that enhance the lives of children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The accreditation process is a review of the agency’s policies and practices by means of site visits, interviews with guardians, participants, staff, funders and stakeholders, along with a review of agency-produced documentation that supports conformance to CARF standards.Earning this accreditation means Little City has demonstrated its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest quality.

Little City has been accredited since 1998 making this its 7th consecutive year earning this certification.
