Rachel Brydon Jannetta Resumes Role as CEO of TestAmerica

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, announced today that James E. Hyman, President and Chief Executive Officer, will leave the company as of April 30, and that Rachel Brydon Jannetta, currently Chairman of the Board of TestAmerica, will resume her role as Chief Executive Officer.

“With the successful completion of our major restructurings as anticipated, at this point it makes sense for me to transition responsibility for TestAmerica to another leader,” said Mr. Hyman. “Fortunately, Rachel our Chairman is available to resume her role as CEO. Rachel’s deep understanding of the business, knowledge of our clients and clear vision will guide the future success for TestAmerica,” continued Mr. Hyman.

Ms. Brydon Jannetta stated, “I want to thank James for his leadership of the company over the past three years. As a result of his and the team’s efforts, the company is well positioned to deliver excellent service to clients from our unmatched network of facilities and services, all operating on a single laboratory information management system.”

The company also announced that Ms. Brydon Jannetta will retain her position as Chairman of the Board, and that Mr. Hyman will entertain other leadership opportunities within the portfolio companies of HIG Capital, one of TestAmerica’s equity owners.
